Scholarships

John is an Asst. Instructor for the Marin County Regional Occupational Program (ROP) at Redwood High School in Larkspur, California.

Scholarships are awarded to two students from each school who are voted by their peers that have demonstrated the five values of friendship with their student body.

Limited access to trades; it is difficult to get into the trades. The trades trailer is a demonstration of how young people can make themselves more desirable and marketable to a company by skill building and preparing them for success in the building trades and life skills.

We offer Friendship Scholarship awards and Building Trade seminars to continue supporting students with their career objectives, coordinating with high school career counselors, and more recently with TIP (Trades Introduction Program) which is sponsored by the North Bay Labor Council.

Portable education through the Foundation Twenty One Trades trailer.

In the Regional Occupational Program (ROP), our youth build sheds using current building codes. This allows them to learn about and use real tools in the building trades.

We allow youth to make their own decision about what path they want to take in the trades.

As of 2018, we are officially adding our Trades Trailer program to our fundraising efforts–already with great success. And so we extend our heartfelt thanks to all members and local business people who, in the last year, have donated on behalf of this new program.
